KHF "Cook with Us" Webinar

Join us for this virtual cooking class webinar in a recovery-oriented environment!

Our KHF registered dietitians and eating disorder specialists, Laura Griffin and Bella Largin, will lead you through a fall-inspired evening, cooking a white bean chicken chili, a side of cornbread, and a drink of apple cider in your own kitchen. Along the way, you will learn kitchen skills aimed to increase:

  • Cooking confidence
  • Meal preparation
  • Food flexibility
  • Nutrition education

This is the place to grow! We will walk with you through the meal preparation with gentleness and encouragement.

The KHF “Cook with Us” Webinar is a cooking class intended to be a hands-on and interactive space for participants to engage with cooking in a recovery-oriented environment as they move forward in their eating disorder recoveries. The facilitators will lead you through a recipe with accessible ingredients while you follow along in the comfort of your own home kitchen. You will end the webinar with a meal you have created. We will not be eating the meal together during the webinar, as this is not intended to be a meal support group. The facilitators have considered general nutritional needs in selecting the recipe, although the meal is not necessarily representative of each participant’s individualized meal plan. Your role in the webinar is to come prepared with the ingredients and kitchen supplies (which will be emailed to you in advance) and to follow along with the facilitators.

If you have any questions, please email misskhaglund@gmail.com.

We look forward to meeting you virtually and sharing this meaningful experience together.

Blessings,
The Kirsten Haglund Foundation
