CLAIRE

Hi, my name is Claire, I am currently in school at UNO, I am a personal trainer, and I’ve been in recovery from the eating disorder for 3 years. A life of recovery never seemed possible to me, but from the help of others and being able to ask for help when I need it, I can confidently say that choosing recovery has been the best choice I have made. Recovery has given me many things it has allowed me to regain relationships with family and friends, it’s allowed me opportunities I never thought I would have, and it ultimately gave me my life back.

ZACH

Hi! I'm Zach, a current second-year physical therapy student, and current athletic trainer at UNMC here in Omaha! I am 27 years old. While it may seem like my life is in order, it wasn't always that way as I struggled with anorexia 4 years; getting better at times and then falling back into a relapse of some sort. But I'm proud to say that after seeking treatment, I've overcome mountains I never thought could be moved, trenches I never thought I could cross, and I've found myself once again.

I'm now one year away from having a doctorate in physical therapy on top of my master's in athletic training and bachelor's in education, three degrees I never thought I'd get to achieve.

SHANNON

Our reigning Mrs. Nebraska International, Shannon Bingham, is a mother of three children, and her and her husband both own local businesses in Omaha. For 20 years she has co-owned Seven Salon + Boutique, is a national traveling educator, photographer and is Vice-Chair of the DHHS Nebraska State Board. More than two decades of being in the fashion scene all over the country, conducting photoshoots with models and creating relationships with clients in her salon and boutique has given way to extensive interactions with both men and women celebrating all body types and breaking down insecurities. As an adoptive mother, she has embraced adoption as her platform. Shannon will compete for the title of Mrs. International 2023 in Tennessee in July.

JESSICA

Jessica is 18 years old and will attend Creighton University this Fall. She plans to major in exercise science through the Pre-Med track. She loves going on walks, hanging out with friends and traveling.
