Join us as we celebrate eating disorder recovery and raise lifesaving funds for continued services and treatment scholarships for those seeking freedom from eating disorders. The Chicagoland Freedom Walk will include inspiring speakers and performers, a rejuvenating pre-walk yoga stretch, recovery resources, and opportunities to connect and network. We will also have an exciting silent auction, fun activity tables, and wholesome recovery driven vibes for those exploring, seeking and living in freedom from their eating disorders - and their families, friends, and other support people.

- Annie Kamps | Event Emcee | Miss Blackhawk Valley 2026 -

Annie Kamps is a communicator, advocate, and founder of Surviving Adversity Through Civic Engagement, an initiative focused on connecting individuals to community programs addressing addiction, incarceration, mental health, and poverty.
She holds a master’s degree in communication and is a professional content creator, podcast host, and speaker who has helped raise more than $90,000 for local organizations. Annie is also a group fitness instructor, mental health advocate, and six-year ambassador with Shatterproof.


Annie is honored to serve as your emcee again at this year's Chicagoland Freedom Walk, and she is grateful to help bring the community together for this meaningful event. Follow her journey on Instagram: @official_anniekamps


- Erin Ferriter | Speaker | Person in Recovery -

After struggling with an eating disorder for many years Erin is now happily in recovery. When she is not working, she has been rediscovering what her body can do for her when she takes care of it. She bowls, plays kickball, and plays wallyball with her friends. In addition, she is a devoted dog mom to Buddy and is in her 8th year of empowering young girls as a Girl Scout leader.




- Emily Esposito, MS, RDN, LDN | Speaker | Eating Disorder Registered Dietician -

Emily is a dietitian who is passionate about helping people cultivate a positive and balanced relationship with food. She practices Health at Every Size (HAES) and intuitive eating, focusing on supporting individuals, particularly those recovering from disordered eating or chronic dieting. Her approach is rooted in empathy and evidence-based care, guiding her clients to trust their body’s natural cues and break free from restrictive patterns. Her ultimate goal is to empower them, and everyone to nourish yourself with confidence, compassion, and without guilt, fostering long-term well-being. Her eating disorder experience includes inpatient, partial hospital programs, intensive outpatient and outpatient care.


- Erin Blanchette, LPMT, MT-BC | Performer | Music Therapist -

Erin is a trauma-informed Music Therapist with over seven years of experience in behavioral health, specializing in Neurological Music Therapy. Grounded in a holistic, client-centered approach, she uses music to support emotional regulation, somatic processing and cognitive restructuring. Erin is deeply committed to advancing the field as an essential component of rehabilitation and has presented on its effectiveness at conferences nationwide. She continues to help individuals heal, connect, and grow through the transformative power of music.




- Jason Wood | Speaker | Person in Recovery, Advocate and Activist -

Jason turned his battle with orthorexia into a mission to break the stigma around men’s mental health by publishing his memoir Starving for Survival. He is proud to serve on the board for Running in Silence, Michigan Eating Disorder Alliance, and SoulPaws Recovery Project. Jason is also the Director of Community Engagement at ANAD and facilitates the organization’s new men’s peer support group. Through speaking engagements, his writing, and his work, Jason strives to start an important conversation that encourages everyone--especially men--to speak up, share their stories, and get the help they deserve.



- Rachel Enblom, LCPC | Speaker | Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor specialized in the treatment of Eating Disorders -

Rachel is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, specialized in the treatment of eating disorders. Rachel has many years of experience treating eating disorders in higher levels of care working with adolescents and adults. She began her career treating all eating disorder diagnoses in a residential and inpatient setting, and later worked in a Partial Hospitalization Program Setting (PHP) treating eating disorders. In Rachel's time working in higher levels of care, she facilitated many process and skill based groups, providing individual therapy to clients, as well as engaging in family work. In addition to treating eating disorders, Rachel specializes in working with body image struggles, low self-esteem, perfectionism, depression, anxiety, self-injurious behaviors, and suicidal ideation. Rachel enjoys helping others find their way through challenges to achieve a meaningful life. Through finding healing and achieving recovery from her own struggles, Rachel has been passionate about helping others achieve full recovery from eating disorders

- Laura Jaramillo, LCPC | Performer | Founder, Therapist, and Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher at Laura Listens -

Laura brings nearly two decades of experience as a licensed therapist, healer, and somatic guide. She blends clinical depth with intuitive presence to support clients seeking emotional, spiritual, and nervous system healing. She has been there, and she knows what it is like to feel fractured—to long for safety, softness, and something deeper than coping. That longing is what led her to study not just psychology, but the sacred art of healing. Over nearly two decades, She has blended clinical expertise with the wisdom of yoga, ritual, creativity, and spiritual presence. Because Laura believes true healing doesn’t just live in the mind—it lives in the nervous system, the body, and the soul.

- Threasa (Tee) Kluever, MSW, LCSW, C-DBT, CGP, CCTP | Walk Coordinator and Recovery Advocate -

Threasa (Tee), is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice serving those who struggle with eating disorders and/or a dissatisfied relationship with food and their body, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma and/or substance use. As a mental health professional, she is able to bring her educational background and her own lived experience and recovery from an eating disorder and other mental health concerns as she meets her clients where they are at. Tee enjoys walking alongside her clients in their journey of recovery and rediscovering a life worth living. She has volunteered as a support group leader, recovery mentor, and event organizer for several eating disorder awareness organizations. She is excited to continue raising awareness and promoting recovery for eating disorders through the Kirsten Haglund Foundation's Freedom Walk.
